MALAY, Singapore — A man named after two popular superheroes has been caught commiting crimes, rather than stopping them.
A Singaporean man named Batman bin Suparman, which means “Batman, Son of Superman,” was incarcerated Monday, according to Reuters.
He’s been sentenced to two years and nine months for offenses such as stealing his brother’s ATM card and making withdrawals totaling $850, breaking into an office to steal money, and taking heroin.
This isn’t the first time Batman has known fame: in 2010, his ID card went viral on the internet.
