Contraband: Kubaton knife

Called a Kubotan Knife, this martial arts weapon is sometimes used as a keychain.

The end of the knife screws off, revealing a potentially lethal blade, which can range from 2.5 to 12 inches long. The hollow shaft can also be used to store narcotics.

Officers should diligently search prisoners during intake, as this weapon can be concealed in body cavities.
