ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. — A corrections officer at the Orange County Jail spanked a female inmate there after inquiring if she was a “bad girl” and “did she need a spanking,” according to a newly filed lawsuit in Orange Circuit Court. The woman, Brittany Nikole O’Neal, was spanked by corrections officer Michael Combs, according to the lawsuit, alleging assault and battery and negligent hiring or retention.

The allegations stem from an incident at the jail that occurred on or about Dec. 15, 2009, when O’Neal was an inmate at the jail. She was awaiting a court appearance with other inmates, when she was “singled out by Michael Combs and taken to a separate holding cell and held against her will,” the complaint states.

That’s when the woman was held up against a wall and asked about the spanking, the claim states. Combs also asked a question like, “Did she want him to do to her that which her Daddy never did?” the lawsuit says.
