CHESTERFIELD, S.C. — All four missing Chesterfield County inmates are now in custody after escaping from jail nearly two weeks ago, according to the South Carolina Law Enforcement Division.
De’Shawn Malik Fox and Kyonne Marquise McLeod were arrested on Friday by the Darlington Police Department and charged with trespassing, resisting arrest and possession of marijuana, the Chesterfield County Sheriff’s Office said.
They are being held in the Darlington County Detention Center.
Another escaped inmate, Emanuel Robson Planco, was arrested by the Richland County Sheriff’s Department in Columbia on Oct. 17 after breaking into cars in the 1400 block of Willow Oak Drive, authorities said.
In addition to the original charges that landed him in the Chesterfield County jail, Planco is now facing counts for failure to stop for blue lights and siren, reckless driving, possession of a stolen vehicle, grand larceny, burglary and financial transaction card theft, according to a news release. He was booked at the Alvin S. Glenn Detention Center.
The fourth escaped inmate, Anton Conway Bennett, was captured Oct. 17 by the Roanoke Rapids Police Department in North Carolina.
The sheriff’s office will continue to investigate the circumstances that led to their escape from the Chesterfield County Detention Center on Oct. 15.
