NEW YORK — Fans of deceased rapper Tupac Shakur will have to shell out big bucks to land a unique collector’s item: a letter from Shakur’s prison time at the Clinton Correctional Facility.

FOX News reports that the five-paged prison letter is currently priced at $225,000.

Shakur spent time at the facility in 1995 when he was convicted of sexually abusing a fan.

The letter, addressed to Death Row Records staffer Nina Bhadreshwar, includes a four-page explanation of his philosophy, entitled “Is THUG Life Dead?”

He also complained about correctional officers and their treatment of prisoners at Clinton Correctional. The facility is currently under investigation after two convicted murderers escaped this past summer.

Shakur released his album “Me Against the World” while he was incarcerated at Clinton Correctional, potentially making him the first person to release a number one album while serving time.

He was released from prison in 1996 and killed in a drive-by shooting not long after.
