Importance of Using a Protective Mask in Correctional Facilities

During every CERT or SORT deployment in a correctional facility lays many dangers. Not on the ones first hand but the longer lasting ones. Wearing your protective masks can not only protect you from chemical contamination but it can also:

    1. Presents a psychological deterrent for visual appearance
    2. Conceal your identity and protect your anonymity – which you know inside a correctional facility can be life threatening in itself!
    3. Physical Protect your face from dangerous debris, contaminated and corrosive liquids, sand or other biological hazards

Remember protecting your face from all of the above mention threats can be critical for saving your life.
