CHICAGO — In order to get onto the set for “Blues Brothers,” John Belushi became a temporary employee of the Illinois Department of Corrections.
CBS News recently posted a photo of Belushi’s ID. The 1980 film shot inside the old Joliet Correctional Center, which closed in 2002.
The ID was sold at an auction for an unknown price, though the ID was valued at $8,000.
It’s unclear who the winner was, or where the ID is today.
