This week’s photo comes from the Wisconsin Department of Corrections Facebook page. The Wisconsin DOC announced the graduation of 48 news COs and one youth counselor. According to the post this is the second group to graduate from a restructured pre-service academy.
Kevin A. Carr, Secretary for the Wisconsin Department of Corrections, addressed the group of new graduates.
“In your new roles as public servants, you are serving a critical need for the future of our state and agency. More than ever, we need trustworthy and reliable people to act as leaders and change agents,” Carr said. “I hope each of you can find the strength to rise to the challenge, and serve our agency and state with pride and honor.”
