MINNEAPOLIS — Two Ramsey County Sheriff’s Office COs assisted a Minnesota state trooper struggling with a person.
Lt. Shannon Williams and Corrections Officer Grecia Olmedo used their CO training and skills to help the trooper. According to a Ramsey County Sheriff’s Office Facebook post, the COs were in Minneapolis for a recruiting event when they witnessed the incident, which had also gone over the radio as a call for assistance.
The sheriff’s office encouraged video viewers to consider a career in corrections as an opportunity to help keep their communities safe.
“If you’re interested in a career that helps keep our community safe, send Lt. Williams an email at Shannon.Williams@co.ramsey.mn.us or Google ‘I want a great career as a Ramsey County Corrections Officer.’”
