SAYRE, Okla. — A woman is behind bars after being accused of shooting contraband over a prison fence with a T-shirt gun.
According to local news station News on 6, officers at North Fork Correctional Center saw someone launch a package over a fence on March 10 near a housing unit. The unit was placed on lockdown and officers followed the woman. She was arrested not far from the prison.
A T-shirt gun was found in Kerri Jo Hickman’s vehicle along with another package. They booked her for introducing contraband into a penal institution, drug trafficking and conspiracy.
The container that went over the fence had cell phones, chargers, earbuds, digital scales, meth, weed and tobacco.
