SALINA, Kan. — An inmate booked on a probation violation is facing new charges after being caught with contraband in his artificial leg.

According to WIBW, a deputy noticed Christopher Lee Jones, 33, slurring his speech while complaining about not receiving his breakfast.

Officers soon learned that Jones brought drugs into the jail inside of his artificial leg, and he had shared some of those drugs with other inmates.

Jones is charged with possession, drug distribution and distribution of contraband inside a correctional facility.
