Pop can contraband

A C1 member wrote, “The following attachments are of a Cola Pop Can, that was discovered by our search officer. It was found in the refrigerator on one of the units.

The contents of the can when found were frozen, which led to the suspicion that it may contain contraband. When X-rayed a teardrop shaped object was noted.

Further examination revealed that the top could be removed. Inside the can was a piece of blue towel, frozen water and a metal object taped to the side of the can with masking tape.

Once the contents were thawed, the metal object (4.5" in length) was removed and found to be a hinge from a double bunked bed, that has been sheared off and sharpened to a point in some manner.”
