CHOWCHILLA, Calif. — Media personalities Kim and Khloé Kardashian toured two California prisons in Chowchilla while recording for their upcoming show on Hulu, the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation stated.
The Kardashian sisters toured Valley State Prison and California Central Women’s Facility on Feb. 9. During their visit, they met with participants of the Youth Offender Program, as well as trainers from the Veterans Service Dogs program.
Following their interactions with the trainers, staff and canine participants, they left the Valley and made their first visit to a women’s correctional facility.
While at the women’s correctional facility, the sisters encountered a gathering of Anti-Recidivism Coalition members in the chapel.
“Coming to a women’s prison, I feel like it has really changed my perspective on why I work in prison reform,” Kim Kardashian said.
Throughout their visit to the facilities, they engaged with employees, volunteers and the population, CDCR said.
The show, which was not named, is set to stream on Hulu sometime in August, CDCR reported.
