BAXTER COUNTY, Ark. — An inmate jailed for fleeing in a vehicle and other charges has a new one to add — attempted escape, foiled by razor wire.
Inmate Cody Wayne Wadkins, according to the Baxter Bulletin, was allowed out into the recreation yard with other inmates for a standard one-hour period. While in the yard, Wadkins scaled the chain link fence surrounding the area, eventually becoming entangled in the razor wire atop the fence.
He sustained cuts and injuries, and is now charged with a third-degree criminal attmept to commit escape.
